Goose was a rescue in South Mississippi from what was described as a very bad situation. Goose came to the shelter in Mississippi just about bald. He was suffering from a fungus infection that carried through most of his body. He was placed in a foster home in Mississippi but his pain was so bad he showed aggression with any medical help. The shelter contacted us with a “Hail Mary” as they called it. With luck we were able to squeeze him in because a Shepherd who was recovering from what he had been through needed a last chance.
Personality:
Goose is a gentile, fun loving, East German Shepherd long hair. He is about 2 years old and has seen the worst this world can show. But he made it, he is now with us and will be up for adoption as soon as possible. Goose shows his appreciation and his affection all of the time. He loves to play ball, walks by chickens and cats without a second look. Keep a close watch for this one. He is a diamond in the ruff.
