Boomer

  • Story

    Boomer was the forgotten child. He was left outdoors as a puppy with no attention at all. His ears were fly bitten down to the nub. When he arrived at Misfit Acres, he was not house broken, never climbed stairs, and never saw the inside of a home. He was also heart worm positive.

  • Personality:

    Boomer is the least aggressive Shepherd Mix we have ever had. He is still timid around strangers but warms us quickly. Boomer just loves a ball and a good bone and does not complain about much at all. He is also a simple Shepherd, but very intelligent. He is certified with chickens, cats, and other dogs. Boomer has spent time with teenagers and had a blast. He is house trained, crate trained, correction collar trained, and snout harness trained. It is difficult to estimate age at times but we believe boomer is 3 to 4 years old.
